Micah Knight, Founder & Principal
Mr. Knight brings over 15 years of strategic business development expertise spanning defense, healthcare, and technology sectors. As founder and principal of Element Consultants, he leads the company’s vision to deliver cutting-edge IT infrastructure solutions to America’s warfighters.
Mr. Knight maintains a deep understanding of the needs of the service after a distinguished military career in both the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard, where he managed over $80 million in assets, 500 troops, and led large-scale, multi-disciplinary programs across multiple agencies. Prior to founding Element Consultants, Mr. Knight spearheaded significant growth within the southeast regional operations of a Fortune 1000 med-tech company, unlocking $11.5M in revenue while managing a $20M international supply chain and leading digital transformation across healthcare facilities.
Mr. Knight holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business (2026). His unique combination of military operational experience, federal acquisition expertise, and private sector business development success positions him to understand both the challenges facing today’s warfighters and the technical solutions needed to address them. Mr. Knight maintains close relationships with key stakeholders across the defense technology ecosystem. His vision for Element Consultants centers on bridging the gap between commercial innovation and military requirements, ensuring that advanced IT capabilities reach the warfighter when and where they’re needed most.
